Note: ProfileTwist is currently undergoing development and some features will not work or seem incomplete.
In high school, I took an indepedent study project on website development. As part of my end of the year assessment, I put together a mock website that enabled high school students to connect through event planning and annoucements. While the website was very basic and did not allow much for student-to-student interaction, the idea of a "school-networking" website burgeoned: a website tailored specifically to college students with the ability to create student organizations and connect with students who not only share similar interests but also may live in the same residence hall or studying the same major. That's what ProfileTwist aims to do.
The study resources I have recently published is a bold step towards completion of the website. If you are a Rutgers student, I urge you to sign up and begin connecting (on an extremely simplified) level with your classmates. The website is no where close to completion but at least I can conduct a closed pilot test of the features I have already implemmented.
Thank you and good luck for the upcoming spring semester.
