Entry Eligibility
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY to submit an entry. Contest open only to U.S residents.
Prize Eligibility
Only entries with a valid Rutgers eden email are eligible to win one of three $10 RU Express giftcards. Nevertheless, anyone with a valid email address may submit an entry for recreational purposes.
Instructions for entry
Anyone fullfilling the elibigility requirements may submit an entry by logging to ProfileTwist.com/superbowl/ and filling out the form. No website registration or signup is required. The full name and email fields are required for bookkeeping purposes and distributing the prizes (if eligible).
The website domain should be accessible publicly throughout the world. If anyone experiences difficulty filling out an entry form, he or she can submit an entry by contacting ProfileTwist via email at contact@profiletwist.com. We will gladly assist in the completion of the form and provide alternative methods of completion if necessary.
Dates of Promotion and Deadlines
Submission for entries have opened January 30, 2012. All entries must be submitted before February 5th at 3pm. Entries will be open throughout the game but the system will not count these as eligible. The times and dates provided are under the New York/Eastern timezone.
Retail Values Prizes
The prizes comprise of three $10 RU Express giftcards. These giftcards have been purchased by ProfileTwist and have not come out of the budget of any Rutgers entities, departments, or institutions.
Winner Selection and Calculated Odds
The selection of winners is not random; the three entries with the highest point accumlation will win the prizes. Each entry is eligible to win one prize. ProfileTwist retains full discretion in deciding the final results of each category. ProfileTwist will do its best, in good faith, to accurately and factually garner the data through independent sources. Nevertheless, ProfileTwist retains full discretion.
Winners will be announced and contacted within seven business days following the completion of the SuperBowl Game. In the event of a tie, ProfileTwist will randomly select a winner from the highest scoring entries through a computer automated machine. Once again, ProfileTwist retains the full discretion in determining whether a tie occurred.
Winners of the prizes must claim their prize within 2 business days. If a prize is unclaimed, ProfileTwist will go down the list of highest scores and choose the next eligibile entry submission.
While the contest is a mix of skill and chance, the legal definition of this contest is a sweepstakes in which the chances of winning are predominantly determined by luck and not inherit skill or talent. As such, ProfileTwist can not and will not accept payment for entry. No purchase is required for entry as stated in the eligibility concern. Furthermore, contestants are limited to one eligible entry through the requirement of a valid Rutgers eden email address.
Due to the complexities of the contest, the odds of winning can not be mathematically calculated. However, the simple odds of winning do heavily depend on the number of entries entered: the more entries submitted, the smaller the odds of winning.
Geographic Area of Sweepstakes
The geographic area of sweepstakes is the Rutgers, New Brunswick college campus.
Tax Responsibility
Winners of the prizes are solely responsibility for declaring their wins on their tax forms.
Limited Liability
Anyone who accesses, views, or submits any entries promises to indemenify and hold ProfileTwist free from liability and any damages that may have resulted from the access or outcome of the contest. Further details pertaining to the limited liability is encapsulated within the ProfileTwist terms, a document that all users are required to agree and abide to while surfing this website.
